CCTV Reporters Go to the Front Line of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project for Interview

Several days ago, CCTV Africa reporters went to the front line of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project and made interviews and reports on the project construction, technical transfer and environmental protection.

 

CCTV Reporters interview the local employees of Section 7 Sleeper Plant

The press corps went to the 7th project manager department, the 3rd one and the 2nd one successively. They visited the project camp site, beam and sleeper plant and track skeleton assembly workshop, central lab and construction site of Tsavo River Extra-large Bridge, and made a spot coverage of the field production, quality control, local employee training and so on. At the 3rd project manager department, the reporters made a site visit to the culvert which was specially designed for the animals to pass and interviewed the environment assessment specialist about the wild animal protection.

All the reporters in the interview were from Kenya. During the interview, they were shocked by the technical management level and "China Speed" of the Chinese enterprises and said they would keep on tracking Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project in the future to make more Kenyan people deeply know the important significance of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project to Kenya and the contribution Chinese enterprises made to the development of Kenya.

It is learned that the thematic series reports of the interview have been broadcast successively on CCTV English Channel.
